Lecrae Moore has gone where no other rapper in the Christian Hip Hop/Gospel Rap genre has gone before! He had his best week ever to date when his album “ANOMALY” reaching #1 on the Billboard 200 chart. NOT just in the Christian/Gospel or even HipHop/Rap categories, but OVERALL! The project sold 88,000 copies in its first week of release, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
After a successful week of of charting on Billboard and iTunes, Reach Records, fans and friends of Lecrae blasted a campaign to get Lecrae on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon by posting on social media sites the hashtag #LecraeOnFallon and sent the topic trending. That caught the attention of the NBC producers of the show and immediately got Lecrae booked, Lecrae posted on his facebook page “Remember when y’all had #lecraeonfallon trending? Well guess who is a guest on the show this week?! Tune in 9/18.”

Jay Cabassa has been doing music for a long time. Jay released his debut project “All For The Love (John 3:16)” in 2010. His most recent project relased in 2014 called ‘HONEST’ brings a fresh flavor to the Christian Hip Hop community with more soulful and worship music, with a blend of hip hop, R&B, and Some Pop.
The title track ‘HONEST’ was produced by Manny Ferrer, Gabriel Ramirez, and Mic O and written by Jay Cabassa, Co Campell, Marz, and Mic O. His project is available on iTunes.
Jay is a member of the worship team at Elements Church in the Bronx. He was featured on the churches compilation project “MISSION FRIENDS” released n 2013 and features various artists from NY, NJ, and other states.
